Fast and Furious 6 Movie Review

Fast and Furious 6 Movie Review

We all know that the Fast & Furious movies have been all about the action. After a Fast & Furious 6 movie review, it was definitely apparent that this movie didn’t disappoint when it comes to action. Fasten your seatbelt – this movie takes you for quite a ride. Actually, it takes you on quite a few action packed rides.

Of course, be prepared for action that goes far beyond reality, think giant tank and a blown up aircraft. Persuaded by Agent Hobbs (played by Dwayne Johnson) to come out of retirement, these well-loved speedsters come out of retirement to help Hobbs catch a criminal. They don’t immediately realize they’ll be rescuing Letty – surprise, she’s not really dead. Agent Hobbs’ promise of full pardons is enough to get Brian (Paul Walker) and Dom (Vin Diesel) out of retirement, along with a few of their notable sidekicks.

If you think the beginning of the of the movie is action-packed, just wait until the last 15 minutes. Within the finale of the film, multiple fights take place and then there’s that runway that seemingly goes on forever while people fight in the cargo bay of a cargo plane. Yes, cars are actually attached to the plane with fights taking place in the cars that incredibly swing from the wings of the plane. Just creating that action sequence had to be a huge feat for the film’s editors!

Bringing laughs to the action film, Tyrese Gibson joins up with Paul Walker, bringing his signature comic delivery throughout the film. Riley shows up once again in the film, with some great fight scenes between Riley (Gina Carano) and Letty. The cameo appearance of Rita Ora was surprising, as she played the head girl of a racing crew in London.

By now, it seemed like this franchise would no longer feel fresh, but just when you think nothing could be better than the last movie, a new Fast & Furious movie comes out. Once again, this movie packs in the action and emphasizes family, making us fall in love with the characters, the cars and the over-the-top action all over again. Fans of the franchise are going to be excited to see the final teaser found in the credits, hinting at a sequel in the future.

While the plot seems to be a bit shaky, the stunning chases, hand-to-hand combat, unexpected humor and token explosions (there’s always one in a Fast & Furious movie) seem to hold it all together. A look at the streets of London are a bit disappointing in this movie, since everything feels a bit cramped for the action. However, viewers soon are taken back to more spacious rods that support plenty of crazy car action and destruction (enter a tank).

After a thorough Fast & Furious 6 movie review, it’s apparent that this film delivers once again. The story line is simple, the action is crazy and it’s sure to provide viewers with some fun, cheap thrills and action that will keep them on the edge of their seat and laughing in turn.
